Wool Landon partners with The Commons Law Center to launch pro bono initiatives

Wool Landon is keenly aware of the history of discrimination that has placed substantial obstacles in front of generations of persons based on their race, ethnicity, and national heritage. We believe that effective estate and disability planning is a key ingredient in helping families preserve and build their wealth. Families that may not have the means to invest in these legal services are no less deserving of the sense of security and comfort often afforded by them.

Wool Landon partners with The Commons Law Center to launch a pro bono initiative that aims to help lower-to-middle income BIPOC families create estate and disability plans.

For that reason, we have partnered with The Commons Law Center to launch a pro bono initiative that aims to help lower-to-middle income BIPOC families create estate and disability plans — and thereby take an important step in maintaining and passing along their hard-earned assets to the next generation. It is our hope that our pro bono clients will establish an enduring, long-term relationship with Wool Landon which will include periodic checks to ensure their estate and disability planning documents are up-to-date and still reflective of their wishes and circumstances.

We are limiting the number of pro bono clients we accept monthly but are excited to have the opportunity to participate in building a brighter, more equitable future for our community. To see if you qualify, please contact The Commons Law Center.
