Biography

Allison Bizzano is an experienced litigator, and advocates for clients in trust, estate, fiduciary, and other related disputes. She has a wealth of experience in business law, real estate, and contract disputes, which enhances and supports the needs of Wool Landon’s estate planning and trust administration clients. Allison has litigated allegations of fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion (theft), partition, and interference with economic relations. With a robust practice history in state and federal courts across Oregon, Washington, and Massachusetts, Allison has successfully represented a diverse client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, large corporations, small businesses, and individual clients. Her time in Massachusetts was particularly formative, providing her with extensive experience in investigations of abuse and neglect and honing her litigation skills.

Allison’s approach to legal challenges is both practical and passionate. She thrives on collaborating with clients to unravel tough problems, always striving for the most efficient and effective solutions. However, when negotiations and out-of-court resolutions do not suffice, she is an ardent advocate in the courtroom, embodying tenacity to achieve favorable outcomes.

Allison’s goals on the transactional and business side are to protect clients by clearly documenting the parties’ intentions, anticipating where problems may arise, and customizing terms to avoid disputes or provide clear remedies in the event of default. She has drafted and negotiated numerous contracts, including loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, asset purchase agreements, leases, easements, and land sale contracts.

Her professional journey includes significant roles at Emerge Law Group and Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP in Portland, Morrison Mahoney LLP in Boston, and a specialized creditors’ rights firm in the Pacific Northwest where she represented national banking clients. As a former law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice, Allison brings a thorough understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements to her practice. She graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she contributed as a law review editor, further sharpening her analytical and writing skills. As a real estate investor and business owner, she has a unique ability to understand the challenges in real estate and the needs of small business owners.
